The Cultural Association Musica Viva and the Schools of Music C. Monteverdi, in collaboration with the Municipality of Jesolo, are pleased to present the second edition of the MUSICA InCanto International Opera Music Competition that will be held on 25 and 26 May 2013 at the Centro Congressi Kursaal.

The Public Museum of Natural History in Jesolo hosts, until 10 May 2013, an imposing exhibition dedicated in particular to schools. Dozens of full-scale reconstructions of extinct animals, from the great Mammuths Primigenius (3 metres 40 centimetres high) to the woolly rhinoceros, to the cave bear, uro, red deer, saber-toothed cat, cave lion, and the Perrier hyena. In the exhibition, there are also many full-scale reconstructions of hominids such as Neanderthal and Homo sapiens.

The Associazione artistica Amici del Quadrato (Artistic Association Amici del Quadrato), headquarters of Eraclea, with the collaboration and patronage of Veneto Region and Municipality of Jesolo organises the III Biennale d’Arte “Città di Jesolo”.
The event is open to painters and sculptors of any free style and techniques expression.

The final day of the Madeofjesolo Project workshop that is part of the concept Eu-PA will take place on Saturday 18 May 2013 from 9 a.m. at the Palladio room of the Pala Arrex.
The students of the Central S. Martin College of London and the Artists involved with exhibit the results of the elaboration of the prototypes created for Eu-PA.

The Interregional Championship of Taekwondo Competition Fights, between the representatives of Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia regions, and involving more than 600 athletes coming from all over Italy, will be held on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 April 2013 at the PalaCornaro.
In these two days, it will be possible to appreciate, at the Palacornaro with free entrance, the essence of Taekwondo already shown at the 2012 London Olympic Games by the Italian athletes that won a Gold and Bronze medal.

Saturday 25 May 2013 the organisers of Venice marathon, in collaboration with the Town of Jesolo, and the Town of Cavallino Treporti, will present the third edition of the Moonlight Half Marathon.

The first edition of "3 on 3 Basketball in Action",takes place at PlayVillage,on Saturday the 23th ofJune in via Equilio. The Basketball tournament opens with the male categories (junior and senior) fallowed by the female categories. Each participating team will choose a name and will consist of 3/4 players.

On Saturday the 23-th of June, will be held the opening of open-air exhibition"Men and Insects", of the artist Charles Pecorelli. The vernissage takes place at 21:00 o’clock in Piazza Marconi. Presented by the art critic Michael Beraldo and Gabriella Babuin. The exhibition of sculpture will be developed on the streets and the promenade of Jesolo until the first of October, 2012. The exhibition is promoted by the City Council and sponsored by the Region and Province.
