MAN AND INSECTS FROM CARLO PECORELLI
On Saturday the 23-th of June, will be held the opening of open-air exhibition"Men and Insects", of the artist Charles Pecorelli. The vernissage takes place at 21:00 o’clock in Piazza Marconi. Presented by the art critic Michael Beraldo and Gabriella Babuin. The exhibition of sculpture will be developed on the streets and the promenade of Jesolo until the first of October, 2012. The exhibition is promoted by the City Council and sponsored by the Region and Province. The insect, by its structure, has a physical point of view turned upside down, sees different things in different ways, is part of our world but with an opposite view to that of the humans. Carlo Pecorelli invites to abandon the point of view that man has regarding the world in order to embrace new and exciting visions. The sculptures with the shape of spiders and ants, are made of various materials: steel, marble and gold of 24 carats.
